We have many types of garb and costumes for historical recreations, living history or LARPs.  If you belong to the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism), Amtgard, NERO Empire, the cast of a Medieval Faire or Renaissance Festival, pirate crew, check out Seams Like Magik's selection of historically-inspired clothing.

Our items combine the historical look with  practicality.  We use durable fabrics in cottons, linens, silks and blends and most are machine washable.  You won't need a maid or valet to get in and out of most of our clothing, although we wouldn't discourage anyone from having help undressing!  

Or perhaps you need one of our sumptuous gowns and fine linen shirts for a 12th Night celebration, feast, coronation or that upcoming Renaissance wedding.  Brocades, satins, velvets and sheer silks will help you create your look. 

We really are busy sewing!  Most of the garb, like our cloaks, is individually made in the USA.  We find fabric lengths at great prices, ask them what they want to be and then turn them into garb for you.  The result is a unique look for you at low prices, but it also means you won't find the same items every time you visit us.  Some days we make dresses and some days we make shirts.  Some days we make red things and some days we only want to touch silk.  The gold dress we have in March is replaced by the blue linen shirt in May and a gray twill cloak in August.  If you are looking for something aprticular, contact us for availability and pricing.  We can help dress your persona for many historical periods or regions.
